Vision
To shift Alzheimer's care from late, stage management to preclinical intervention by making precision biomarker diagnostics accessible, scalable, and affordable.
Problem
Dementia affects 55+ million people globally (~70% Alzheimer's), set to triple by 2050. Current diagnostics are costly, invasive, post, symptom, and miss the ~15, year preclinical window where intervention works best.
Solution
We developed a blood, based multiplex biomarker assay with AI analytics to detect Alzheimer's molecular signatures 10, 15 years before symptoms, enabling far more effective intervention than late, stage care.
Potential
The global Alzheimer's diagnostics market should exceed USD 12 billion by 2030, with blood, based assays growing fastest. The Femtoplex platform extends to Parkinson's, ALS, and other proteinopathies.
Target Beneficiaries
Hospitals, Diagnostic labs, Pharmaceutical companies, Public health agencies, Clinicians, Aging populations
Current Users
Prototype under development with IISc, NIMHANS, TIFR, Hyderabad, and CBR; analytical validation on retrospective samples planned within 12 months, then a prospective NIMHANS validation cohort.
