Build globally competitive, indigenous unmanned aerial and propulsion technologies for secure, scalable, and self, reliant aerospace innovation.
Problem
India's armed forces rely heavily on imported loitering munitions and UCAVs, expensive, import, restricted, and unavailable for frontier terrain operations.
Solution
Sky Reaper is a fully indigenous turbojet, powered UCAV/loitering munition with 800 km range, 30 kg warhead, and AI, assisted guidance with smart missiles, designed and built in India.
Potential
India's loitering munition market exceeds ₹50,000 Cr this decade; global UCAV export market tops $15B. Sky Reaper targets Army, IAF procurement and friendly, nation defence exports.
Target Beneficiaries
Indian Army, Indian Air Force, DRDO, friendly foreign nations (export) and foreign collaborators seeking affordable high, speed UAS test platforms.; indirect beneficiaries: domestic aerospace supply chain and MSMEs.
Current Users
Active MoU with Northern Army Command and School of Artillery, Indian Army. Trials started.
