Vision
Our vision is to make India self-reliant in advanced cardiac care by vertically integrating TAVI technology, reducing dependence on imports, and ensuring that every patient suffering from aortic stenosis has timely access to safe, effective, and minimally invasive valve replacement solutions.

Solution
SMT integrated nitinol processing, medical extrusion, braiding, and lamination to develop an indigenous TAVI solution in India, reducing import dependence and ensuring affordable, accessible, life-saving treatment for patients.
Potential
By 2030, India’s TAVI target population could exceed 100 million elderly, with 1–2 million patients eligible annually. Europe, with 3–4 million eligible patients annually.
