AI-Driven Early Detection of Alzheimer's
Platform technology for ultra-early diagnosis of Alzheimer’s and other dementias
Vision
To shift Alzheimer's care from late-stage management to preclinical intervention by making precision biomarker diagnostics accessible, scalable, and affordable.
Problem
Dementia affects 55+ million people globally (~70% Alzheimer's), set to triple by 2050. Current diagnostics are costly, invasive, post-symptom, and miss the ~15-year preclinical window where intervention works best.
Solution
We developed a blood-based multiplex biomarker assay with AI analytics to detect Alzheimer's molecular signatures 10-15 years before symptoms, enabling far more effective intervention than late-stage care.
Potential
The global Alzheimer's diagnostics market should exceed USD 12 billion by 2030, with blood-based assays growing fastest. The Femtoplex platform extends to Parkinson's, ALS, and other proteinopathies.
Target Beneficiaries
Hospitals - Diagnostic labs - Pharmaceutical companies - Public health agencies - Clinicians - Aging populations
Current Users
Prototype under development with IISc, NIMHANS, TIFR-Hyderabad, and CBR; analytical validation on retrospective samples planned within 12 months, then a prospective NIMHANS validation cohort.
